Work begins Tuesday on Pelham Street in Lunenburg. The Pelham Street Sidewalk Renewal Project is expected to take six to seven weeks but wet weather could extend the construction. The work will replace the existing Pelham Street sidewalk from town limits to the intersection with Shipyard Hill Road. Crews will also improve the pedestrian crossing at Sawpit Road. Traffic management will be in place and at times access to the sidewalk and individual driveways may be limited for short periods.
