Online forms in NS aim to simplify the process for tenants to get their security deposits back

New online forms in Nova Scotia aim to simplify the process for tenants to get their security deposits back. The forms will eliminate the need for a hearing and provide a quicker resolution. Landlords and tenants will now fill out separate forms, depending on the situation. If a landlord fails to return the deposit or submit a request within 10 days, the tenant will receive the deposit. These changes aim to make it easier for both parties and speed up the decision-making process.
